Enrollment Options

1. Some courses allow learners to self-enroll in the course. Courses that allow self-enrollment have a  icon next to them in the list of courses. The Pre-Vet courses are an example of this enrollment type.
   
2. Some courses require potential participants to enter a specified enrollment key in order to enroll. Enrollment in these courses is limited to only those provided the key.
   
3. Some courses are only available to specific participants and are not available for enrollment.
   

To Self-Enroll in a Course

1. Access the list of courses on the site. This list is available prior to logging in to the site, as well as by selecting All Courses from the Courses drop-down at the top of any page.

1. Click on the category of the course type that you're seeking. Or alternatively, click the  icon to expand the list to show all courses on the site.
   

1. Courses in which you can self-enroll have a  icon to the right of the course name. 
   
2. Click the Information  icon to view the course description.
   
   
   
3. Then click the course name if you wish to enroll. The Enrollment Options page will display.
   
   
   
4. Click the  button. You will be taken to the course page with a message noting that you have been enrolled in the course at the top.
   

To Enroll in a Course Requiring an Enrollment Key

1. Follow the instructions above to view a course's summary. For courses requiring an enrollment key, the  icon will display to the right of the course.
   
   
   
2. Click on the course name. The Enrollment Options page will display.
   
   
   
3. Enter the enrollment key provided to you by AAVMC or another party in the Enrollment key field.
   
4. Then click the  button. You will be taken to the course page with a notice at the top indicating you have been enrolled.
